Nicholas Courtney

Nicholas Courtney: R.I.P died yesterday February 22, after a very long and painful battle against cancer. I went to say goodbye to him Friday at the wonderful hospice near Belsize Park North London. He is best known for his role of Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart on Doctor Who, appearing in front of each actor who portrayed the doctor William Hartnell thanks to Paul McGann. Courtney is also Chairman Emeritus of the society of satisfaction that doctor. He resumed his role as a Brigadier on The Sarah Jane Adventures.
This is a wonderful companion and friends would call each other, or by e-mail to connect past stories just for an evening with the Brig. We will miss him terribly.
